Why ENJO works

What makes water + Fibre so effective?

On its own, water can only do so much. It loosens dirt, but it doesn’t have the structure needed to lift and hold it away from a surface.

That's where Enjo fibres come in

Because ENJO fibres are ultra-fine and densely structured, water is pulled deep into the fibre. As it moves, it carries dirt, grease and bacteria with it. This process is known as ‘capillary action’.

What about capillary action?

Capillary action is the natural ability of a liquid to move into tiny spaces — even against gravity.

Interestingly, it’s also the same natural process used by plants to draw water from their roots up to their leaves!

This matters because it turns cleaning into a physical process rather than a chemical one:

Dirt is lifted, not dissolved
Bacteria is removed, not masked
Surfaces are cleaned, not coated

No sprays or harsh ingredients.

What ENJO fibres are made from

ENJO fibres aren’t ordinary cloths.

Each ENJO Fibre is engineered using a precise blend of materials, including polyester, polyamide, acrylic, viscose, and cotton — though the exact mix depends on what surface the Fibre is designed to clean.

Why not use all-natural fibres?

Fair question! Although natural fibres like cotton can feel familiar, they just aren’t built for the job that ENJO fibres do.

They tend to absorb dirt rather than lift it, they lose their effectiveness quickly, and they break down faster after repeated use.

On the other hand, our engineered fibres are chosen because they maintain their structure over time, creating the ultra-fine spaces needed for capillary action, and delivering consistent performance for years rather than months.

Meet the weaves

Because how a fibre is built matters just as much as what it’s made from.

Not all cleaning jobs are the same, and neither are ENJO fibres. Each one is finished using a specific weave structure, designed to suit different surfaces and cleaning tasks.

Weft knitted

Weft knitted fibres follow a loopy path, which gives them excellent elasticity and flexibility. This structure allows the fibre to stretch, bend, and conform to uneven or curved surfaces without losing contact.

Woven

Woven fibres are created by interlacing two sets of threads at right angles. This produces a flatter, more structurally stable fabric with minimal stretch.

Warp knitted

In warp knitted fibres, threads are held parallel during production and tensioned tightly. This creates a fabric that’s more stable and structured than weft knitted fibres, while still offering controlled elasticity.

Tufted

Tufted fibres are made by stitching threads through a backing cloth, creating long loops that sit above the surface. This adds texture and increases surface contact.
