“What I love about ENJO is that it’s so much more than products — it’s about changing habits, reducing waste, and giving people the opportunity to build something meaningful.”

- Barb de Corti

The Queen of Clean

Barb leads with the same principles she lives by: making decisions based on long-term impact, and refusing to compromise on her values. For her, leadership has always been about putting people first. She combines this ethos with her never-ending love for people – and shows it by turning up at your door with homemade baked goods in hand.

A Story Built on Belief

  • How it all began

ENJO Australia began as the answer to a question that hadn’t yet fully formed in Barb’s mind. That question was: how can covering my home in chemicals be the safest way to clean?

  • ENJO Australia begins in 1994

When Barb came across ENJO, seeing the potential behind the product, she went all in, investing her life savings to bring it to Australia. In her own words, “I believed it would work because I believed people would care once they understood the impact of what they were using in their homes and sending down their drains.”

  • Educating the masses

ENJO wasn’t exactly an instantaneous hit. For many, the idea that you can clean effectively with just fibres and water was almost too simple to believe. So Barb focused on education rather than persuasion. Through demonstrations, conversations, and real-life proof, she helped Australians see a better way to clean, one home at a time.

"I have three rules I live by each day. Passion, Purpose and Participation."
